Gloria Williams (CYT, Plant-Based Chef, MSW, BSW)   

is sole proprietor / director of beautiful Soothe Downtown Spa, St. John’s, NL, Canada. Her Ahimsa (do no harm) mission is a cruelty-free, environmentally responsible business / life balance. As such, she pursues ongoing wellness education that acknowledges the interconnection of the health of all beings and the planet itself. She practices the World Peace Diet; a (vegan) conscious connection with nature and all sentient beings.

Gloria’s compilation of life experiences include service industry employment, community development & mental health social work, health promotion consulting, yoga instruction, dance performance and her most recent joy; culinary arts. She has a passion for learning and a deep appreciation for these interconnected learning opportunities;

Chef & Nutrition Certification; Gloria is a graduate of Plant Based Nutrition; Cornel (2017), Heal & Ignite” Raw Vegan Chef Certification (2017) Pachavega, Introduction to Ayurveda: Nourishing Self Care, Kripalu (2017) Rouxbe Professional Plant-Based Chef Certification Program (2018), Life Transformation Training, Hippocrates Health Institute (2018), Food Over Medicine Facilitator Certification (2019) and Advanced Raw Food Chef Certification (2019).  Gloria recognizes that the plant foods we choose to eat can be prepared in ways that preserve and even enhance how ones body will absorb the phytochemicals and nutrients to create positive change in ones system. – That plant-based nutrient-dense foods can create a supportive, nutrient strong environment that brings energy and vitality to cells and systems for prevention & healing of disease. Laurabeth Power (CYT)

has dedicated herself to the practice, study and teaching of yoga since discovering its joys and benefits in 2004. In 2008 she had a dream of doing yoga on a beach in Thailand. The next day she cleared her schedule booked a flight and backpacked South East Asia for 3 months. It was on a this retreat she decided she wanted to spread the light and begin to teach. Ever since she has been on a life long path seeking truth and inspiring others to awaken to their fullest potential.

LB is certified in vinyasa, hatha, yin and restorative yoga, as well as, a trained meditation teacher. She founded the non profit organization, Soul Warrior Yoga for Youth that offers kids yoga teacher trainings across Newfoundland. She is a ambassador for Lululemon and loves planning unique events for the yoga community. Her favourite classes to teach are balanced with a meditative yin sequence followed by a fiery yang flow.

Off the mat she is a contemporary dancer, indie music enthusiast, mountain peek seeker, vegan foodie, kitchen dance party expert and world traveller. She wears her heart on her sleeve and always looks for the best in any situation.
